WORLD FAMOUS COTTON EYED JOE CELEBRATES 30 YEARS IN FARRAGUT
One of Farragut’s most famous businesses, The Cotton Eyed Joe, celebrated its 30th anniversary September 1st. Each week, more than 4,000 people enjoy the Joe’s 25,000 square foot building and 2,500 square foot dance floor. Cotton Eyed Joe is billed as the hottest night club in Knoxville and is known as one of the hottest clubs in the country.
In 2018, the club won the prestigious ACM Nightclub Of The Year. The club continues to bring customers great concerts, MMA fights, and line dancing lessons. The National Anthem is played every night, followed by the club’s theme song, Cotton-Eyed Joe. An all new menu is making its debut, and its décor is very unique featuring a DJ booth that is an actual semi-truck. Farragut residents and guests can expect to see a new Cotton Eyed Joe sign soon.
New Changes/Offerings
Arriving at the Joe has never been better because the valet parking services have been enhanced. An all new menu will be making its debut sometime soon at the Joe. It will be filled with usual bar food, plus many delicious fresh food choices.
FREE dance lessons are held at the Joe from 7:30-9pm on Thursdays and Sundays. Thursday’s lessons consist of two stepping and line dancing, and Sunday’s lessons are line dancing. CEJ is always teaching new and exciting dance moves!

One of the coolest features about the Joe is how it’s decorated. For example, the DJ booth is an actual semi-truck! The rest of the building is filled with signed photos, Western gear and much more.

Activities
Other than dancing and drinking adult beverages (21+), there are many other fun things to do. From video games to pool tables, it would be impossible not to have a good time. The Joe also has games like darts. CEJ even has a shoe shiner who comes in on the weekends! Dare to be a cowboy or cowgirl by riding the mechanical bull.
Joe’s Closet is a shopping center located inside the Joe, where t-shirts, hats, koozies and more can be found. This is also the place for coat checks, and where concert tickets can be purchased.
Owner
Chuck Ward purchased the club in 2017 and has taken the club to the next level! So many changes to the club include a new PBR bull, lights and sound on the dance floor, Ole Smokey moonshine bar, and a much needed face lift on the exterior! The club is setting records for weekly attendance and concerts! Chuck pours his heart and soul into the club every weekend and strives to keep everyone happy! He tells everyone daily YOU HAVEN’T SEEN ANYTHING YET!
